Meet Pastor Tyler
I've been here at Shadycrest since I was 16. I met my wife here. I served as volunteer, youth pastor, associate pastor, and now, lead pastor.

I love the people here, and I couldn't imagine being anywhere else.
My Story
My wife, Lindsey, and I have been married for 14 years, and we are the proud parents of four boys. I love the outdoors and enjoy spending time outside, especially in the mountains, fishing, hunting, and coaching youth sports. I am a graduate of East Texas Baptist University and later earned my master’s degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
I am passionate about seeing Shadycrest reach its full potential by helping people discover who God is, who He has created them to be, and how to share that life-changing truth with others. I hope people will see that Shadycrest is not about putting on a show, but about creating a genuine and welcoming place where people can be themselves—so that God can save, transform lives, and form a community empowered to live on mission together.
