Our children's small groups are designed to compliment the lessons from AWANA to help our kiddos retain the message and learn to live our their faith.
Student Ministry
Our student ministry is where 7th–12th graders find belonging, ask big questions, and grow closer to God together. We’re not about hype for hype’s sake — we’re about helping students build lasting friendships, discover purpose, and follow Jesus in everyday life. Expect games, worship, honest conversations, and a crew that’s got your back.

Campfire Ministry
At Shadycrest, we believe students need more than sermons and memory verses—they need real-world wisdom and hands-on experience that sticks with them long after they leave the building. That’s why we created Campfire Ministry—a space where biblical truth and practical life skills meet.
Through this unique approach, we equip our youth not just with knowledge of the Bible, but with confidence, competence, and character. Around the campfire and out in the field, students learn how to change a tire, build a fire, fish, grill a meal, or navigate a map—while also discussing how these everyday skills mirror deeper spiritual truths like responsibility, stewardship, trust, and teamwork.
It’s about forming resilient disciples who don’t just believe in Christ, but can also lead, serve, and thrive in the real world. Whether it’s starting a fire with damp wood or studying Proverbs under the stars, our students come away with more than just memories—they leave with a sense of purpose and practical tools for life.
